Fourth 1-0 Loss in Five
Derry City 1
Bohemians 0
Bohs fell to their fourth 1-0 loss in the opening five games of the
season. The slight improvement of the last two games disappeared as Bohs
failed to create anything other than one half-chance, which Tony Grant
missed.
Gaffer started Stephen Rice on the right side of midfield, leaving the
talented Harkin and Kelly on the bench. Again no Collins, Powell or
Duggan. Again disappointing performances from Byrne, McGuinness, gaffer
etc. This simply isn't good enough.
Special note must also go
to referee Hugo Whoriskey and his two performing monkeys, who bottled it
and gave hometown decisions all night. Cowards.
Derry City: Forde,
McCallion, Hutton, Brennan, Oman, Deery, Martyn, Molloy, McCourt (Cash
87), O'Flynn (Beckett 90), Farren (McHugh 17).
Bohemians: S O'Brien, Rice, Byrne (Arkins 74), Hunt, Ferguson,
McGuinness, Heary, Farrelly (M O'Brien 66), O'Keeffe (Harkin 62), Grant,
Ward.
