The last home game against rovers I got a call from a lad who lives on my street, who's 15. The stewards stopped him and his mates at St Peters school end and along with the cops wouldn't let him or his mate in. I went out to vouch for him and his mate. I was asked by another 10 or so kids, all around the same age if I could vouch for them too, which I did. My name address and phone number were taking by some cop who was loving being the dictator, and I was told in no uncertain if they caused any trouble I would be held responsible and would face charges (complete bullshit anyway). I'd no problem vouching for them at all, as all they wanted to do was watch a game of football. Anyway, the cop would probably find it hard to track down PJ BLods 1 Main St Clonee Meath.

But my point is, why were they being refused entry ? Is it because there was 10-12 of them together ? No adult with them ? Because the club don't want their money ? That was the guts of €100 the club nearly missed out on.

Also, I saw the stewards turning people away saying it was all ticket and it was sold out FFS. Now Matt sorted that out straight away, but some people walked off believing this to be true. We are actually paying the stewards money and this is what they are doing !!!

This thing of turning teenagers away between the ages of 13 to 18 is a fucking joke . When I was that age I never went anywhere with my DA & MA ? What sort of south side prick is running the show up there at the moment. If I had been refused from Bohs at that age I wouldnt be a fan now The Jodi is half empty every week. What the fuck is going on, Im hearing about this shite with stewards every week ???
I think its time to clean house , what ever compnay we are paying for stewarding needs to be gotten rid of , and get in some other bunch of monkeys.
But the biggest problem of all is the message coming from the club , they are telling stewards to refuse 13-18 year olds without their Mammys & Daddys This club is a fucking jokeshop.
Honestly if it were possible to get a mannequin , put a steward jacket on it , draw a smiley face on it , and put it in charge of team of steward mannequins outside the ground , I would be happier . Why can Bohs just let everyone in and deal with any possible future trouble if and as it happens in the ground.
We are a tiny club ,with less than 2000 supports at games , wake up. Stop refusing people.
For every one person we refuse there is probably 5 or more friends of that person that will also be put off the club for good.

The scum match at home last year in March, me and a few mates were stopped . We were all 16 , according to the steward we had to be over 18 or be with an adult . Showed him my temporary season ticket [a piece of paper] and he eventually gave up and let us pass.

This shit has been happening for at least 2 years and it's gettin worse. Who gives a shit if 12 year olds cause a small bit of trouble. All a steward has to do is tell them to calm down. I say a few hundred euros have been lost over this shit. Things need to change or new fans will be going to Fingal or Shels etc.
